Chairman, Liz Turner advised members and visitors of our coffee morning on Wednesday 26th June and the very special Golden Anniversary lunch on Thursday 15th August at Crannage Hall, near Holmes Chapel. Lower Peover church celebrates its 750th anniversary on 5th, 6th and 7th July and many members are involved with floral displays depicting its history, not to be missed. Members were also wished good
luck in their entries
to the Royal Cheshire Show. A warm welcome was given to a return visit to our demonstrator, Karen Schofield with her title, “Season to Inspire”. Karen filled the stage with exquisite, varied exhibits in different shapes, colours and sizes which we all hoped to win in the raffle. We were all kept in awe of her tales of travel mishaps and near misses in her inimitable funny way, thankful they had not occurred to us.
