May Meeting

Vice Chairman, Felicia Dykstra welcomed members and visitors to the meeting and reminded us that next month’s meeting will take place on the 13th of June, a week earlier than usual. This is to be an ongoing annual arrangement in order that the club meeting does not clash with the Royal Cheshire Show, which many of our members and visitors attend and often compete at the show. Debbie Davies, from Formby, gave a wonderful demonstration, her stage was set with colourful flowers and exhibits, Debbie captivated us with her stories from her younger school days in Liverpool going on to the Chester Ballet School, from there she attended a Russian Ballet company for extra tuition. Her dance career has taken her around the world to dance in some amazing locations before taking up Floral Art. Members competition, Outside, Inside was won as follows:- Novice and Newcomers 1st.               Elaine Denham 2nd.             Frances Scholes Advanced 1st.                Lorraine Dorsett 2nd.              Julie Alexander Premier 1st.                Dorothy Monks 2nd.              Joan Wilkinson 3rd.               Marilyn Makepeace-Warne
