November Meeting

Vice Chairman, Felicia Dykstra asked us to reserve May 14th next year for a special evening event with Dean Sharpe, the Staffordshire Florist. Dean will give a demonstration followed by a workshop at our usual venue - Plumley Village Hall. Felicia then introduced Liz Broad, her title was, “Glimpse of Glitter”.  Her arrangements contained stories  of traditional Christmas activities or folk law. The variety of colour ways, forms and textures delighted her audience.  Tea and delicious home made mince pies continued our build-up to Christmas. The competition “Frozen” attracted a host of entrants - the winners below - Novice and Newcomers 1st.               Marion Downes 2nd.             Anne Bingham-Holmes 3rd.              Bernadette Kelly Intermediate 1st.               Elaine Denham Advanced 1st.               Lorraine Dorsett 2nd.             Win Ross 3rd.              Julie Alexander Premier 1st.               Dorothy Monks 2nd.             Marilyn Makepeace Warne 3rd.              Felicia Dykstra
